Designed for worsted weight yarn. Level: advanced Shalor Pullover, forerunner to Shalor Cardigan, was designed years ago and named after a big Irish mare owned by an acquaintance who was a long-time member of the U.S. Olympic Equestrian Team. Intricate Arans are fun and challenging for the advanced knitter. Shalor is knit on #6 needles and the stitching shows to advantage with smooth, worsted-spun wools. Raw wool, a lanolin-rich fiber, adds extra body and warmth to the knitted fabric. Like the Cardigan, this pullover is for the expert needle worker. Sizes 34 through 48.
