MARCH TRUNK SHOW We have exciting news about the March Trunk Show  featuring Vermont Organic Fiber Company's organic O-Wool Classic, O-Wool Balance and a new yarn for us, O-Wool Legacy DK. We will have several projects on display in the store. Over the past decade Vermont Organic Fiber Company has been dedicated to discovering and
utilizing the best processing methods, in accordance with the Organic
Trade Association's-Fiber Processing Standards, to make O~Wool the premier fiber it is today. Come see all the lovely garments in the Trunk Show and get some ideas for your knitting needles! This US grown, certified organic O-Wool Classic, O-Wool Balance, and O-Wool Legacy DK will be 20% off for the month of March. We have all the colors for each yarn in stock now. Dancing Ewe Yarns also stocks several patterns from Vermont Organic Fiber Company. We will be sending an email notice for the dates of the Trunk Show.

BLUE SKY ALPACAS ORGANIC COTTON & SKINNY COTTON
 Organically grown and harvested without the use of agri-chemicals, Blue Sky Alpacas organic cotton and organic Skinny cotton are wonderful yarns to work with and wear. Wrap yourself in a cloud of comfort with these soft, beautifully colored yarns. Baby Bobbi Bear at right may be made with Blue Sky Alpapcas Organic Cotton worsted weight yarn as a treasured toy for a little one. The Skinny Dyed Cotton has a wonderful collection of beautiful colors to choose from.
We have many new patterns for the Skinny dyed cotton too. Here are just a few of them. On the left is the Skinny Cardigan. The lovely pattern on the right is the Lacy Wrap Sweater. These are nice, light sweaters for those cool summer nights.

COME SEE THE NEW YARN ARRIVALS
Dancing Ewe Yarns & Teas received several new yarns this past week.
Along with O-Wool Legacy DK and Blue Sky Alpacas Skinny cotton mentioned above, we have been filling the shelves with these new yarns.
ShibuiKnits Merino Kid is a lovely worsted weight yarn in many rich colors as shown below. With 218 yards per skein, this 55% Kid Mohair 45% Merino wool is soft and cuddly.
Shibui Knits Sock yarn is 100% superwash merino. Containing 191 yards per skein, there are a variety of solids and blended colors.
Malabrigo Silky Merino is a gorgeous 150 yard skein of beauty.
Cathy and Janelle have been rearranging the store and stocking the shelves with all the new yarn. Come in and see all their hard work!

 Knitting With Susie
Join Susie on Tuesday mornings from 10:30am-12:30pm for Advanced
Beginner to Intermediate Level knitting help. Students work on a
project of choice. Enhance your knitting skills, review basic skills,
learn pattern reading, shaping, and techniques as they present
themselves. Bring your project and questions.
$10 per hour

Beginning and Beyond - Knit or Crochet
Come
discover the very basics of knitting, no experience required! Terry
will teach you to cast on, knit, purl, and bind off as you knit a
sampler. You will see how to hold the yarn for Continental method or
for English method, as you prefer. With ongoing study you may also
learn how to increase and decrease, understand gauge, abbreviations,
yarn labels, etc. Class meets for one to two hours at a time. A
perfect class for beginners!
$10 per hour
Thursdays 2:00-7:00pm

Private
lesson are available in a wide variety of areas including, but
not limited to: Beginning to advanced knitting, crochet, felting,
spinning with a spindle or wheel, lace, color-work, and more! Private
lessons are based on instructor availability and cost $15-$25 per hour.
