KAUNI YARN
KauniEffect yarn from Estonia arrived this week and we are busy putting it on our shelves. KauniEffect is a 100% wool in gorgeous self-striping colors. This 2-ply sport weight yarn is sold by the gram. Skeins are 120-180 grams. Kauni Effect yarn is a unique yarn with long colorway changes that create tempting fair isle projects or a simple shawl or scarf. The color pictured is Rainbow. All of the colors you see here are contained in one skein! Knitting or crocheting with KauniEffect yarn is amazing as you watch the colors emerge. You can search for current project ideas using KauniEffect yarn on Ravelry.

NEVER NOT KNITTING PODCASTS Dancing Ewe Yarns is sponsoring the Never Not Knitting podcast by Alana Dakos. In Episode 12 Alana talks about knitting the Selbu Modern Hat which she is modeling in this picture. She used Jamieson's Shetland Spindrift yarn; two skeins of Scotch Broom and one skein of Grouse. Her blog includes several helpful hints about knitting the Selbu Modern Hat. Soon we will be carrying
Never Not Knitting patterns in the shop and on the internet. In the meantime, enjoy listening to the fun and informative Never Not Knitting podcast.

GIRASOLE KAL Dancing Ewe Yarns has started a KAL (Knitalong) using Jared Flood's BrooklynTweed Girasole Go to The Dancing Ewes at Ravelry for our forum talk. This pattern is fun and easy to follow and can be made into a shawl with yarn such as Jamieson's Shetland Spindrift or a blanket with Cascade Pastaza. Girasole in Italian means sunflower and done in the yellow Pastaza, that is a perfect description of the blanket.
