Dancing Ewe customer Irene C. has come up with a gorgeous scarf pattern utilizing modular knitting techniques. Using Noro Silk Garden or similar self striping yarn, it makes a warm, cozy scarf. Irene says that this type of knitting can be addictive and very rewarding!
$30 per three-hour workshop

This class is best suited for advanced beginners who already know how to knit, purl, cast on, and bind off.

Join Susie on Tuesday mornings from 10:30am-12:30pm for intermediate knitting help. Students work on a project of choice. You will enhance your knitting skills, review basic skills, and learn pattern reading, shaping, and techniques as they present themselves. Bring your project and questions.

Beginning and Beyond - Knit or Crochet
|
Come discover the very basics of knitting or crochet, no experience required! Terry will teach you to cast on, knit, purl, and bind off as you knit a sampler. You will see how to hold the yarn for Continental style or for English style, as you prefer. With ongoing study you may also learn how to increase and decrease, understand gauge, abbreviations, yarn labels, etc. Class meets for one to two hours at a time. A perfect class for beginners!
$10 per hour
